Ushbu maqolada O‘zbekiston shaharlari antropologiyasiga oid ayrim tadqiqotlar tahlil qilingan. Unda tadqiqotchilar tomonidan qo‘llaniladigan tadqiqot usullari, muammoga turlicha yondashuvlar va ularning maqsadlari atroflicha bayon etilgan. Shuningdek, shahar muammosini etnologik tadqiq qilishda fanlararo yondashuvning ahamiyati turli sohaga doir adabiyotlarning tahlili orqali ko‘rsatib berilgan.
